Thru the Pass

We traveled through the Crowsnest Pass today. The weather was mostly clear and sunny, but we did drive through various micro-climates due to winds and clouds forced between mountains.

We witnessed Franks Slide again. It is amazing how much rock, boulders and debris was moved by that disaster!! I took some pictures but they don't show the enormity of it.

We crossed into Idaho at Kingsgate, stopping a few times to take photos, and ended up at Coeur d'Alene, a beautiful resort town. We rented a motel room right downtown, so we will walk to a restaurant for supper. Also, we booked seats to see a theatre production at Lake City Playhouse called K2.
