View Point Quilt Show

Marj and I drove to View Point RV Park to see their quilt show. It was very good. Quite a few art clubs at that park. Lots of good quilters and fibre artists. Well worth the visit.

These three quilts were the winners in a 'paint-chip challenge'.

Mexican Star
Table runner size.

Sunshine and Shadows
Very small nine patches and solid squares create this design.
It would be interesting in scrappy materials.

Marj standing beside a few pieces by the fibre artists group display.

Individual fibre artists pieces were pinned to a large sheet.
I really like the long one that hangs from the left down towards the right, called
Searching for the Sun
by Gina Roth from Churchill, MB
A variety of scenes from northern forests, prairies to cacti.

Lake of the Woods Scene
by Nancy Bergman
Kenora, Ontario

Modern Sunflower Field
Love the quilting on this table runner, really adds to the modern feel of the quilt.
