Sugar Shack

Supper and entertainment was at, Sucrerie de la Montaine. We travel to a rural area north west of Montreal, got on a horse wagon and were escorted into a sugar maple grove. The trees are extremely tall!  

The owners showed us how they tap sugar maple trees the old fashioned way with pails. Then the boil the maple water down to make syrup. We are there and every type of food seemed to have maple syrup in or on it. Yummy!!
