Friends in Old Quebec

After a long walk, up and down hill and up and down again, we arrived in Vieux Quebec. We passed thru the gates of the old city and wandered the streets, very old and full of people. 

We took the funicular down (I know, you should only pay to go up) to the area where my high school friend, Kathy, lives.   We walked a few steps to her doorway, hidden amongst the shops. 

We had a great reunion!  Another friend from high school, Kim, was visiting from Winnipeg. We sat on Kathy's terrace, where we could see the top of Chateau Frontenac and church steeples. From her living room window we could see the St Laurence.  Great location.
