Arrive in Montreal

Don and I flew West Jet to Montreal. Good flight. (There have been four bomb threats on West Jet flights lately, so I was wondering how the flight would be. No problem.)

We arrived in the mid afternoon and checked into our room at the Chateau Champlain. We walked to Old Montreal and had supper at an outdoor patio. Don had mussels, I had a Mamzelle Salad. Very good. 

Walked back to our hotel thru the old town area. There are many buildings with interesting architecture here. Lots of renos going on and many more needed. Very historic. Saw the Notre Dame Basilica too. 

Great beginning to our vacation.
