South Beach, Dar es Salaam

After buffet breakfast that included naan bread, we walked the beach. Sun is hot - remembered sunscreen. Then we swam in pool and read poolside under a roof (trying to be sensible about amount of sun we expose ourselves to).

Afternoon brings the playing of music from large speakers. We can only last until mid-afternoon, then retreat to room and can still hear the music even wearing earplugs! But the locals seem to love it; they even dance in the pool.
