Arusha National Park

Our first day on safari and OMG, we were blown away with the quantity and variety of wildlife. We saw everything from zebras, cape buffaloes, & dik diks to giraffes, colobus monkeys, & hippos from 100 yards (in a canoe).

We saw far more animals & from closer than any of us expected. So far we would def recommend Amani Afrika for safaris.

We also had a beer with Godwin T one of the founders of Amani. They dedicate a portion of their income & also their time to community aid specifically for kids. They bought 1200 quality mosquito nets for all the orphanages in the area. There have been no new cases of malaria among the orphans since. Very interesting guy.
