Deb and Fred Arrive

Finally, after a 12 hour bus ride, Deb and Fred arrived. Their trip by bus from Dar es Salaam was quite an adventure! Initially they were told it would take 5 hours, the bus would have AC and a toilet..... Well AC was an open window and the toilet was a stop on the road, men to the left women to the right. We had lots of chuckles about it over supper.

During supper, Raymond, our safari guide stopped by and introduced himself. We will leave for our first day on safari tomorrow morning at 7:30.

Earlier in the day Don made a friend with one of the lodge's security dogs, Brutus, who would fetch a stick over and over again until the stick was shredded to pieces. Then he chose a rock to fetch!
