Yvonne drove me home to Holland once Don and I returned to Manitoba from Mesa. Don stayed in Winnipeg for meetings and I went back in to Winnipeg the next day to pick him up.
In the meantime Yvonne quilted up a storm! She had lots of quilting to catch up on. She managed to get four quilts quilted in two days. Wow!!
Here is Yvonne and Matt with all the newly quilted quilts!!
This Mickey Mouse quilt is for Yvonne's grand daughter Sofia who is in love with Mickey!!
The back is purple fairies, also a favorite of Sofia's!
Take a careful look at this eye spy quilt that Yvonne made for her new grand son Jonah.
Not only is it full of different eye-spy objects, but there also is a maze to get to the centre.
See the openings in the narrow blue boarders? Well done!!
Yvonne made up this design using charm packs (packages of 5" X 5" squares of material) of Christmas materials. Then quilted it with a holly and ribbon motif.
This last colourful quilt is to be a donation quilt for some lucky person through MPQ.
Matt is checking it out!
