Planting more cacti

Don planted a couple more cacti we bought. One is a prickly pear type that gets a purple tinge to it. And the other is a barrel type that has a gorgeous dark purple flower at this time of year.

We are conscious of the bacteria in the dirt being different from what we are used to; Don is wearing a mask so as not to inhale any soil particles.

Our big saguaro and the small barrel cactus that got planted nearby.

Planting the barrel cactus.  Notice the dark purple buds that will blossom.
