Lost Dutchman State Park is alongside the Superstition Mountains and has numerous hiking trails. Six of us, Mel, Shane, Lila, Murray, Don and I hiked Treasure Loop Trail, a 2.4 mile hike with a 500 feet elevation change.
The park is named after the famous lost gold mine, discovered by a Dutchman who died before he could stake his claim. People still are looking for the mine to claim the gold!
