Downtown Calgary

Early morning walk and breakfast in downtown Calgary. Walked to Chinatown and had breakfast at a HongKong Style Restaurant. Had hot tea in a tall water glass. Don ate sea food and noodles, and I had eggs. They sell cooked ducks, chicken, pork, etc. from a glass roaster that you could see into.

The view of downtown Calgary skyline has changed. The Calgary tower seems outdated and dwarfed by the towering skyscrapers surrounding it.

We walked along the Bow River after breakfast. It was a cool fall day. Don took some panorama shots with me in them. One facing the river, one facing downtown (our hotel is behind me to the left) and among some Karl Forester grass (just for you Joan).

Chinese deli, including duck.

CN Tower is dwarfed.

Chinatown.

Panorama shot of the Bow River.

Panorama shot of downtown.

Gorgeous Karl Forester grass.
