Truro Visit with the Johnsons

Don's last day of the Canadian Credit Union Conference ended at noon. So we rented a car and drove to Truro. We took highway 215 along the Minas Basin (along the Bat of Fundy). Lots of small farms and villages. A few vineyards. Stopped at Walton for lunch and visited the lighthouse.

On we drove through Truro to Bible Hill where Cindy and Greg live in a gorgeous home. (Greg is Don's brother Jim's brother in law. Don hasn't seen him since 1976.)  They toured us around their area and showed us their business, Hub Drilling. We had a delicious supper, a wonderful conversation, night sleep and breakfast before saying goodbye. Great hosts. The beginning of a newly reacquainted friendship!!
