Diva's Meeting Here

A group of fibre arts colleagues, the Fibre Arts Divas, held their May meeting here in my new studio area at our Treherne house. We shared our challenge pieces on "line" and other new art pieces. 

Susan showed us her large canola field based on a smaller piece she had done. She also showed us the pieces she is sending to Weyburn for the summer display there. 

Val showed us her tree for the "lines" challenge and also the kids on a bobsled that she is working on for her portraits from old photos series she is working on. 

Adeline had a couple of pieces she has been working in from some Coreen Zerr classes. Gorgeous fox piece and also an ultra cute piece showing puppies in the back of the couch looking out the window. 

Helen showed her new thread work piece of a colourful bird as well as a sunflower piece both based on classwork for Coreen Zerr classes. Then she showed two older pieces that show "line" as they are a stained glass look. Beautiful!
