Banff

Don and I hiked up Tunnel Mountain today. This hike boasts great views of Banff area and townsite. It was a fairly steep hike, but quite doable. The views were gorgeous!

After hiking Tunnel Mountain, we walked to downtown Banff and had crepes for lunch. A great reward!!

BTW - The name Tunnel Mountain is rather a misnomer. The mountain does not have a tunnel running through it although it was first planned to have one for the railroad to go through. In the end they built the railroad around this mountain instead.
