Sisters in Transit

Proud of my Mom and her brand new book! The book launch was in Portage at the Art Centre on Saturday. Mom gave a reading highlighting sections from the book.

Sisters in Transit is somewhat of a sequel to her last novel, Traveling Light. It revolves around two sets of sisters a generation apart heading off on a road trip together. I can hardly wait to read it. I suspect it will be humorous and poignant. Mom is such a great writer. (I'm not bias at all!!)

The art gallery was set up for a new display. Marvelous watercolor and sculptures too. Gorgeous background for the book launch. Wonderful event!
