The JR&FQ2 quilt guild's last meeting for 2012 was a special day. Of course we sewed, but we also had a pot luck lunch (yummy), and said farewell to Catherine, executive director of the THAA.
For Catherine's retirement gift the guild made her a couch quilt. Each guild member made a square, then Joan and I put the blocks together with sashing and boarders. I quilted it on the long arm. We hope she enjoys cuddling in it!
