Melanie and I traveled north to Fountain Hills area last Sunday to see an outdoor art sale. A bunch of vendors were set up along the shore of the famous fountain of the area. The fountain shoots high into the sky for five minutes every hour on the hour. If the wind is too strong the fountain does not go off. Even though it was a cool and windy day we did see the fountain. Yahoo.
The art vendors were very good. Lots of interesting jewelry and wall art. Mel and I enjoyed looking. We each bought some jewelry. I bought two pairs of earring featuring stone from Arizona; petrified wood and peppermint jasper.
When we returned to Mel's the gang was gathered there. We watched the final game of the Tournament of Hearts and had pizza. Great day.
