Enjoying the Condo

Got a better look at our condo and area in the daylight today. What a gorgeous place. It is amazing what water can do. The natural landscape of this valley is extremely arid. Mostly rock, sand and a few tenacious plants. Whereas, the communities built and irrigated are like paradise.

We strolled around the golf course. It was virtually empty! I guess it is cold for here at about 50F-ish. But to Don and I it is like a beautiful spring day in MB. The sun is warm but the air is cool.

The big event of the day was the Street Fair, with over 160 vendors. I bought a hat to protect me from the sun. Don also thought about buying a visor, but it didn't go with his hair! :)  I bought some dates, tomatoes and Brussels sprouts from the local food venders. It was fun. We will have to check it out again another Sunday.

To end our day we enjoyed a relaxing dip in the hot tub. The stars were bright and I enjoyed looking at them thinking that my good friends Sandra and Wil may be looking at the same stars from their hot tub!

Our bedroom at the condo is at least twice as big as the one at home!
A little over the top, but we will enjoy it while we are here.

The golf course where our condo is located.  Notice the surrounding mountains with some fresh snow on them.

Enjoying our pool area (but not swimming yet).  Our condo is the one right behind Krista on the lower level.  No one above us yet.

The handsome young guy Krista met.

Krista with her Brussel sprouts which we ate tonight.
Really good with butter, onions, garlic and peppers.
