Finishing a Challenge

I finally got my 50 Shades of Grey challenge piece completed. In this challenge 25 of us quilters exchanged 2 different shades of grey blocks (for a total of 50) that we each then had to put together into a quilt top. You could add any other fabrics but the grey was to be predominant in the quilt.

I based my quilt on half-square triangles and made three different coloured ribbons of DNA in strips. I had some half-square triangles left so I made a backing with leftovers. I will quilt this project when I get home to my long arm machine.
