Canyon Lake
Took a drive north east of Mesa up into the hills. Nice view of Superstition Mountains. Then up, up into the hills to see a lot of cacti.
A short way into our drive we stopped at a view point to look down on Canyon Lake. This lake is part of a chain of lakes and canyons created by the flooding of the salt river to be used to generate hydro electricity.
