Days Pass By

The time flies in Mesa. Don and I have done a lot of walking. Mostly in furniture stores and malls!!  We also seem to spend many evenings dining out with other Manitobans.

Last night we dined at Oregano Pizza before attending Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Hale Theatre.  It was well done. The musicianship and acting was great. A time or two it bordered in melodramatic, but I think the troupe feels they have to keep the crowd laughing or else they may fall asleep.

Today we played Pickle Ball at Mesa Dunes with Jim and Brian. It was fun to get reacquainted with such a fun sport. Ever heard of Pickle Ball?  It is a mixture of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. You use a mallet and a wiffle ball.

Don and I have also done some house jobs. Cleaned the windows and planted tomatoes. We also are getting ideas of what to do regarding the landscaping in the back yard. First we will have to open up the sealed hot tub to see if it is remotely functional. That may be a job for the new year.

I also am anxious to set up my sewing room, but want to search for just the right furniture. I can't decide whether to go with new modular units or up-style some used consignment furniture. It will all depend on what I happen to see.
