News to me! Roses love the heat of the desert and as long as they receive water to their roots they are happy. The nice part of a rose planted in the desert is that they do not seem to get black mold on the leaves which is a problem in more humid areas.
Don and I would like to plant a couple of rose bushes at our Mesa home so did some exploring at the Valle Del Oro rose garden. The roses seem to be in full blossom right now. Gorgeous!
