Central Region Juried Art Show

The THAA had a busy week setting up the art show, hosting the three adjudicators, hosting the reception, and taking down the show. Phew! But well worth it.

Sixty artists submitted 150 pieces of art for critiquing. The entire works' show was only on display at the Holland Hall for a few hours. The adjudicators, KarenAdamson, Barb Flemington, andChris Larson,  selected 40 pieces to show at four differs locations in the Central Region area for the next four months. The touring schedule is:  Holland in May, Morden in June, Carman in July, and Portage in August. Then 10 of those 40 pieces were selected to also show at the Rural and Northern Art Show in Winnipeg at the Assiniboine Park's Pavilion Gallery in September.

A big thank you to the staff and volunteers at the THAA.  Kudos to Beth, Cynthia and Brendan.  A wonderful show!
