Art Show at the Olive Mill

Don and I met Chris and Banjo ( her West Highland Terrier) at the Queen Creek Olive Mill to attend an art show by the Superstition Springs Art Group. Chris has become a member of the group, but did not have a booth. Maybe next year.

It was a gorgeous day to be outdoors among the olive trees. We saw lots of great art. One magnificent photographer, Julie West, a friend of Chris', was showing her work. I bought some notecards from her. Seeing her work has spurred Din on to get some of his photographs printed.

We also really enjoyed some unique glass work. I bought some mushroom and jellyfish encased pendant necklaces. They also had gorgeous marbles. Wow. They are setting up a teaching studio and I hope to take a class next year. It was a great day!

Don is checking out the marbles (I think he lost his!) at the artist vendor's table.

A closer look at the marbles.

The four to her left all depict Superstition Mountain.

Julie again with her photos.  Stunning!!

Chris (and the top of Banjo's head) purchasing a vase from this artist.

Gorgeous Day!!
