Mystery Quilts - Nearly Done

I haven't completed all of my mystery quilt steps yet, but our time at the sewing centre at Venture Out is up. Marj and Nellie got the most done, but even they still have a flange and border to add.

Yes I did fix it!

I did fix my mistake. Can you see what I did wrong?  Here I have fixed one of the two incorrect blocks. 

Mystery Quilt Step 3 and 1/2 Done

Here I am an hour and a half later and I have completed all of step 3 and half of step 4. However, I do have a mistake in one block to take out. (Or should I leave it as my Amish Mistake??)

Can you see the mistake in one of my star blocks?

Hint:  It is not in the square that I show front and centre, but in one of the background blocks.

Four finished stars are completed for step two. Again two hours. Hope the next steps are shorter!!

Mystery Quilt Step One Done

Took me two hours to do step one. It was supposed to take one hour. Oops. I blame it on having to set up and use an unfamiliar machine!  (Good excuse!)

Made 20 four patches and sixteen triangle pieced squares.

Mystery Quilt Begins

Here we are at Venture Out sewing room beginning our day of sewing. We are making an Appian Way Quilt. Here are my fabric choices all ready to get sewn together.

Lila and Murray Arrive

Great to have Lila and Murray arrive from Holland. They are enjoying the warm weather and sunshine. We are enjoying their company and kitchen skills!

Today we drove to Saguaro Lake, Fountain Hills, Scottsdale before heading to an NHL game. Great day!
